Assuming you have read our introduction to mini roundabouts, let's look at how to tackle a double mini roundabout. Twice the trouble or just twice the fun?
As with all driving don't let something get in your head just because it seems tricky at first. Each element just needs to be tackled in turn and the rules of a roundabout are applied at each step, give way to the right and make sure you signal.

In the example above most of the traffic flows from left to right or right to left horizontally across the picture. The roundabouts do however cater for traffic being able to enter the flow from the top or the bottom as well as traffic in the flow being able to exit across the face of the on coming traffic. Let's look at some examples.
Turning Right at the First Roundabout
Make sure you are indicating right as you approach.
Check for traffic coming from the right.
Make sure your exit is free, you don't want to get stuck blocking traffic.
Go around the roundabout, watching for on coming traffic, they might not be expecting cars to be turning across the face of them.
As you pass the exit before yours indicate left to come off.
Going Straight Ahead and Turning Left at the 2nd Roundabout
Lets assume you are coming from the left on the picture.
Your exit is the first on the roundabout, indicating left makes it clear to those coming straight towards you that you are taking the first exit.
Check for traffic coming from the right.
Enter the roundabout and follow the lane round to the first exit.
As you exit the first roundabout make sure the indicator doesn't cancel or if it does make sure you remember to set it to indicator left again as you are turning left.
Check for traffic coming from the right.
Make sure your exit is free.
Exit the roundabout.
Going Straight Ahead and Turning Right at the 2nd Roundabout
Lets assume you are coming from the left on the picture.
Your exit is the first on the roundabout, indicating left makes it clear to those coming straight towards you that you are taking the first exit.
Check for traffic coming from the right.
Enter the roundabout and follow the lane round to the first exit.
As you exit the first roundabout make sure you change your indicator from left to right.
Check for traffic coming from the right, in this case the traffic from the right is coming from straight ahead.
Note - Be extra careful turning right across the face of traffic, in these types of road systems people are not expecting it.
Make sure your exit is free.
Go round the roundabout and indicate left as you pass the last exit.
Exit the roundabout.
Top Tip - Make sure you tackle each roundabout individually, using your indicators appropriately at each stage.
